I was borne and raised in Detroit Michigan where I began my musical interest in grade school. My favorite drummer is Stuart Copeland of the Police. Watching him play really got my foot tapping and wanting to push my drumming experience to new levels. I bought my first drum set for a 12 pack of Budweiser and $75.00 which was a multi colored Magnum kit. I didn't know anything about playing drums. I watched music videos and watched what the drummers were doing from the videos to see what to hit to get what sounds. I taught myself how to play the drums by practicing over and over in the basement of my Mother’s house (THANK YOU :-)). I got better and joined a band with some friends called No Request. A high school band that never saw the stage but I learned a lot from playing with other musicians and how a band works. I then bought my Ludwig Kit (Roxanne) from someone who didn't like the color for $200.00. I haven't looked back or wanted to buy any another set since I bought Roxanne. I LOVE my Orange Vista lights!!!!!!! My first taste of playing on stage was with a band called Polecat. I played with that band for may years and moved on to a band called Urethane where I played for three years and toured throughout Michigan. I have found my home with Bricktown Station where I enjoy playing with a group of musicians that really know how to have a good time on stage and likes to create rocken music.
